Abstract: In the continuous c sting of ustenitic st inless steel round tube, the
influencing f ctors of some ser ious surf ce defects such s longitudin l f ce cr ck, sc r
nd subsurf ce inclusion re found out by experiments nd n ly ses. By me ns of
re son bly controlling c sting temper ture, dopting suit ble mold pow der nd
submer ged entry nozzle, the per cent ge of e ch defect h s been controlled w ithin the
limit of 4 % , nd the surf ce qu lity of ustenitic st inless steel round tube h s been
improved rem r k bly.
