Abstract: Based on deeply analyzing the concepts and research approach of eco-environmental w a-

ter requirements the T ennant method and the minimum monthly discharge method w ere used to
calculate the ecological base flow of five sections in the Weihe River And the paper further deter-.
mined the basic flow values in different sections for maintenance eco-environment system safety.
This research result w ill play an key role to improve w ater environment and river ecosystem of
Weihe River .
