Suggestions on Developing Chinese Investment Banks

Abstract: The invest ent banks in China e erge with the develop ent of capital arket and they are still
on their initial stages with any proble s with the selves. This paper suggests that Chinese odern invest
ent banks should be for ed by co binations and reconstructions of do estic stock corporations, or be
founded by theco binationwith theforeign invest ent banks, and do esticprivativecapitals should beper
itted to establish odern invest ent banks. This paper points out that three strategies could be put into
practice to develop Chinese invest ent banks: developing the business of stock sale and agency, expanding
the business of corporation co binations, and pro oting? Chinese? high and newtechnology industries by
participating risk invest ent and anage ent by division of occupation.
