Abstract: In order to calculate the cable shapeof suspension bridge with spatial cables at bridge com-
pletion stage and cablefinish stage,a 3-dimensional analysis model is used and an numerica-l analytical
method is proposed,the effect of saddle and coupling between cable and hanger are also considered. The
proposed method is verified through a numerical example and is shown of high accuracy,efficiency and
conveniency.This method can also be used to analysis mult-i span suspension bridge with spatial cables
or with longitudinally inclined hagers and classical suspension bridge.
