[Abstract] T e industrial processes and catalysts for production of acrylic acid t roug propylene
oxidation w ere introduced. T e development of t e processes, reactors and catalyst production for t e
tw ostep propylene oxidation to acrylic acid w as rev iew ed. T e catalysts for propy lene oxidation to
acro lein w ere mainly M oB i m ixed oxides. T e catalysts for acrolein oxidation to acry lic acid w ere
m ainly M oV m ixed oxides. In t e future, study in t e catalyst for production of acrylic acid w ill focus
on adding d ifferent prom oters, low ering t e reaction tem perature, c anging t e supports, increasing t e
yield and selectivity, mi prov ing t ermal stab ility of t e catalysts, and prolonging t e catalyst life.
