Module 1 Unit 2 New York is in the east of America. 教材分析：三年级起点第七册教材是基于前几册书的第一轮复习。Unit1主要是让学生学会怎样谈论一个地方，例如一个景点、一个城市等。学习用数字表达长度、人口数量等。Unit2为第一单元的延续，是在前一课的基础上继续谈论某处，特别让学生学会看地图，从地图上找到某一个地方，指出并说出来。 学情分析：此模块的内容对学生来说已经不是难点，主要应该让学生们通过在用中学，学中用，反复实践学用结合的方式，促进学生语言技能的发展，为后面的学习打下扎实的基础。 教学目标 知识目标：1掌握并能运用句子：Where is New York? It’s here, in the east. Canada is north of America and Mexico is south of America. 2 了解句子中的逻辑重音。 3 能够随着韵律熟练朗读Chant。 能力目标：1 提高合作能力，能根据短文内容提问并予以回答。 2讲述某地的地理位置和相关的基本信息。 情感目标：感受异域文化的同时，激发学生对自己祖国的热爱。 教学重点：让学生学会看地图，从地图上找到某一个地方，指出并说出其位置和相关信息。 教学难点：运用所学句式进行综合性的表达。 教学过程： Activity 1 Look, listen and point. 活动目标：学习并掌握基础句式并能根据自己所听懂的课文内容进行问答。 1 Read the word---News.
