SPSS Pearson sig U A doi issn j Youth Behavior Analysis on Traffic Safety Based on a Regression Model TIAN Sheng LIU Erhui School of Civ il Eng inee r ing and T r ansp o rtation South China Univ ers ity of Technology Guangz hou China Abstract In order to improve the traffic saf ety level of youth in Guangzhou China rotect them in traffic safety p the youth behaviors on traffic safety w ere studied based on the Guangzhou youth saf e behavior survey data in this paper Four indicators of youth behaviors on traffic safety including education aw areness attitudes and personal f actors w ere i dentified by quantitative analy sis T he information of traffic safety education aw areness and attitude w as collected by the questionnaires Pearson correlation analy sis and multiple regression analy sis w ith SPSS w ere used to analyze the collected data T he results show that education aw areness attitude and other factors w ere directly related to the youth behaviors on traffic safety T he significant levels sig of the variables w ere less than w hich meant that all varia bles have significant effects on the youth behaviors on traffic safety and they can be w ell applied in the evaluation of youth behaviors on traffic safety T he results also provide a scientific basis for youth education on traffic saf ety for par ents schools traffic management authorities to develop relevant policies Key words traffic
