Chinese Research A cadem y o f Env ironm ental Science, Be ijing 100012, China) A bstract: The sources, hazards and general treatment methods of oily w astew ater are introduced and the current research on m embrane separation techno logy for oily w astew ater treatm ent at hom e and abroad are also summ arized, such as m icro-filtration, ultra-filtration, reverse osm osis and comb ined m embrane treatment process. The problem s of m embrane fou ling and prevention are discussed.
