W e find the hi h- boilin products are esters of ad ipate by analyzin the rectification residue of d ichloropropano.l They can be disposed in the follow in w ays: transesterification, hydrolysis and hydro enation. The results show that Pd/C reduc- tion is the bestw ay, and the respective y ield of ad ipate and d ichloropropanol are 92. 33% and 78. 53%.
