S ingle n cleotide polymorph ism ( SNPs) of exon 1 of GH genew as detected in Gans m odern meat sheep new breed pop lation by polym erase chain reaction ( PCR ) single strand conform ation polymorph ism ( SSCP) . The res lts showed that the polym orph ism w as detected and had wt o genotype(AA, AB) in Gans modern m eat sheep new breed pop lation, wh ich have aT /A m tation in 301 bp and G /A m tation in 305 bp of exon 1 of GH Gene. The correlation between these two genotypes w ith body w eight w as analyzed, show ing that the body w eigh t of b irth, onem onth, two m on th and threem onth w ere not sign ifican t w ith different genotypes(P 005), in add i tion, AB are h igher than AA.
