M eanwh ile, the ch ange of the pho to ab sorb ance of the system is d irectly proport iona l to the am ount of fluo ride ion in the system, and as the concentrat ion o f the - 1 fluo ride ion is ranging w ith in 20 ~ 1000 m g L , there is a good linear re lation ship betw een the photo ab sorb ance and the concentration o f the fluoride ion. A regression equ ation o fA 495 = 0002 98+ 0039 5 w as derived w ith a linearity corre lation coe ff icient of 0998 3. Base upon the exp ermi ental resu lt, a sp ectrophotom e tric m ethod for determ ination of fluoride
