Obj ective To inv stigat th curativ ff ct and complications of intraart rial thrombolysis ( IAT) with r combinant tissu plasminog n activator( rtPA) for pati nts with acut isch mic strok , and analys th factors r lat d th outcom s. Methods 12 pati nts w r tr at d by IAT with rtPA in our hospital from Oct. 2002 to Oct. 2003. Primary n uroradiological ass ssm nt was p rform d with CT in all pati nts. M chanical disruption of clot r mnants w r att mpt d aft r rtPA infusion. Angiographic r canalization was classifi d according to thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) grad s. Clinical valuation was und rtak n 20 d aft r thrombolysis with classification of modifi d rankin scal (MRS) scor s, good for 0 to 3 and poor for 4 to 6. Results B for thrombolysis th scor s for TIMI 1 in 1 cas was 8. 33% and T IMI 0 in 11 cas s was 91. 67% . Th rat s of compl t or partial r canalization just aft r IAT w r 75% ( 912) , l ss or no r canalization w r 25% ( 312) . Good outcom in 66. 7% ( 812) , poor outcom in 33. 33% ( 412) .
