When it came, I was at home, fighting against the water, because water kept coming in. Outside the rain was pouring and the wind was blowing. One of the windows cracked, I felt shocked and didn’t know what to do because never have I experienced such a strong typhoon before. It was reported that some cars were damaged by the fallen trees. Some people were injured when walking in the street. Because of it, Haikou didn’t sleep that night! T: Have you ever experienced any natural disaster? Or do you know other natural　disasters? T: Do you still remember what happened to Wenchuan on May 12th, 2008? What damage was caused at that time? (show the loss) T: Today we’ll learn about a much bigger and greater earthquake than Wenchuan earthquake Now let’s turn to page 26.
