Methods: With the assistance of neuronavigation, the extended transsphenoidal approach respectively by the transnasal approach(TNA), sublabial approach (SLA), modified sublabial approach(MSLA), and LFO were performed in 9 adult cadaveric heads. Under the microscope, the midline skull base structures exposed by the four approaches were observed. To draw assistance from neuronavigator, the surgical exposure to the anterior skull cranial fossa, cavernous sinus area and clivus area was measured. After that, the metered data was analyzed by the statistics software in order to identify if there was statistics difference
