The Transformation Path and Safeguard Measures of HX Commercial Group Abstract Since the financial crisis, profound changes have taken place in the international economic situation. The word economy is subject to different degrees of slowing down in growth with demand declining. The trade protection policy is generally implemented by countries to protect their own industries which have greatly influenced domestic business enterprise. Besides, with the domestic economic growth rate slowing down and the investment in infrastructure decreasing, Chinas import demand for resources, energy and other related products has plummeted which has the iron and steel industry bear the brunt. HX group, as a comprehensive business group which deals with mainly iron ore trade, has been affected greatly by the financial crisis, with business management in difficulty. Facing the changing circumstances, HX group is in urgent need of finding a new path of development.
