The clinical observation on treatment of verruca plana with ChuYouDecoction joined catgut-embedding and its effect to T lymphocyte subsets Speciality：Dermatology ，Surgery of TCM Author ：Bi Yunpeng Tutor：Professor Song Yeqiang Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of ChuYouDecoction joined catgut-embe- dding in treatment of verruca plana blood stasis，and study the level of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in patients before and after treatment,explore its therapeutic mechanism. Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. The cure group, ChuYouDecoction was for oral and topical use, joined catgut-embedding; the control group, ChuYouDecoction was also for oral and topical use. Recombinant human interferon α-2b gel (You Jingan) was for all patients. After six courses, observe the clinical efficacy, and study the level of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in all patientsbefore and after treatment. Results: The cure rate of the cure group and the control group was 70% and 50%,but it had no statistical significance (P 0.05). The total effective rate of the both groups was 93.33% and 73.33%,the two groups was statistically significant (P0.05). After + + + treatment, the level of peripheral CD4 , CD4 / CD8 ratio of the both grouos rose, and + CD8 reduced, but it had statistically significance between the two groups (P0.01). Conclusion: ChuYouDecoction joined catgut-embedding and only ChuYouDecoction both had better clinical curative effect on treatment of verruca plana, but the cure group was obviously better than the control group(P0.05).
