万方数据 万方数据 Abstract At the background “cultural turn”, feminist translation theory becomes more and more flourishing around the world; some scholars begin to pay attention to the factor of gender in translation. But the present studies mainly focus on analyzing the differences between male‟s version and female‟s version. Few scholars tend to analyze if the translators can keep other gender ‟s perspective on the basis of androgyny. This thesis takes two versions of Jane Eyre as the research objective, comparing the reproduction and recreation of female consciousness in female translator Zhu Qingying ‟s version and male translator Huang Yuanshen ‟s version through analyzing representative examples. The aim of this thesis is to explain that Huang Yuanshen can keep androgynous perspective through shifting his gender identity and reviewing the gender problems from the female perspective. This thesis will borrow the concept of androgyny to explain translator ‟s gender perspective in translation. Androgyny usually means the combination of female temperament and male temperament. Translator‟s androgyny mainly means translator can view the problem of gender from different gender perspectives in the process of translating to fulfill the transformation of translator ‟s gender identity and express the author ‟s intention briefly. Influenced by the factor of gender, translators may present some discrimination when translating other gender ‟s works, or change the author ‟s original in
