Abstract:Anovelactivesteeringsystemwithforceanddisplacementcoupledcontrol(thenovelAFSsystem)wasintroduced.which
hasfunctionsofboththeactivesteeringandelectricpowersteering.BasedonthemodelofthenovelAFSsystem andthevehicle
three—degreeofrfeedom system,theconceptandquantitativeformulasofthenovelAFSsystem steeringperlermancewereproposed.
Thesteeringroadfeelandsteeringportabi1ityweresetastheoptimizingtargetswiththesteeringstabilityandsteeringportabilityas
theconstraintconditions.Accordingtothefeaturesofconstrainedoptimizationofmultivariablefunction.amulti—variablegenetic
algorithm forthesystem parameteroptimizationwasdesigned.Thesimulationresultsshow thatbasedonparametricoptimizationof
themulti—objectivegeneticalgorithm.thenoveIAFSsystem canimprovethesteeringroadfee1.steeringportabilityandsteering
stability.thustheoptimizationmethodcanprovideatheoreticalbasisofrthedesignandoptimizationofthenovelAFSsystem.
