TBIL DBIL P 0.05 ALT AST ALB CRP CHO PTA P 0.05 1. , 2. 3. 4. 6 ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the correlation of the relative factors and the jaundice syndrom e with chronic severe hepatitis B (CSHB) and to know the essence of yin jaundice and yang jaundice. This study open a new way of thinking in syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), provide objective basis for diagnosis, and enhance the clinical diagnosis and treatment of jaundice in TCM. Methods: 60 patients of CSHB were divided into two groups on the basis of the differential diagnosis of TCM: yin jaundice syndrome group and yang jaundice syndrome group. Then, their symptoms, signs, general factors and complication were investigated and the blood samples were taken for the measurement of laboratory index.
