Abstract：TheN．dopedTiO2-loadedhalloysitenanotubes(N—TiO2H／NTs)nanocompositeswerepreparedbyusingchemi—
calvapordepositionmethodwhichwasrealizedinautoclave．Thephotocatalyticactivity0fnanOcOmpositeswasevaluated
byvirtueofthedecompositionofformaldehydegasundersolar-lightirradiation．TheXRD patternsverifiedthattheanatase
structuredTiO wasdepositedonHNTs．TheTEM imagesshowedthatthesurfaceofHNTswascoveredwithnanosized
TiO，withaparticlesizeofca．20nm．TheUv-visspectraindicatedthattheN—TiO2／HNTspresentedasignificantabsorption
bandinthevisibleregionbetween400am and600nm．Undersolar-lightirradiation，thehighestdegradationrateofformal—
dehydegasattained90％ after100minofsolar-lightirradiation．Thecombinationofthephotocatalyticpropertyof 02and
theuniquestructureofhalloysitewouldassertapromisingperspectiveindegradationoforganicpollutants．
