Methods: Retrospectively choosing 200 complete case data of patients with coronary heart disease and angina in the outpatient service of Professor Ding Shuwen from March 2010 to January 2012 to calculate the frequency of TCM syndrome types, symptoms, signs and related diseases, classify the drugs with the highest frequency according to drug effect. Exploring the law of drug compatibility between drugs commonly used through the exploratory factor analysis and researching the correlation between clinical data and drugs through the logistic regression analysis. Results: (1) 12 types of TCM syndromes appeared and 104 traditional chinese medicine were used in 200 cases, the types with the highest frequency were qi deficiency and blood stasis(56%), both qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis(14.5%), blood stasis and toxic heat (9%); in the top 10 of the Chinese medicine were huangqi, chuanxiong, maidong, wuweizi, shuizhi, shenggancao, yuanhu, bingpian, gegen and sanqifen.
