The Clinical Research Of Infection After Orthopaedic Surgery With Chinese And Modern Integrated Medicine Treatment Speciality: Orthopaedics of TCM Author: Shi Hongwei Tutor: Professor:Qi Shangfeng Abstract Objective ：To study the causes of Orthopaedic postoperative infection and its treatment of Chinese and modern integrated medicine ,and to analyse curative effect of Chinese and modern integrated medicine on postoperative Orthopaedic postoperative infection . Methods ：The research covered 25 patients with chronic infection after internal fixation, which included 10 cases of tibia and fibula infection , 1 case of infection in humerus ,8 cases of infection in femoral shaft and 1 case radial shaft infection.All patient were treated with Chinese Herbs and surgery,and their blood, ESR, bacterial culture and sensitivity test were reviewed after surgery.And all the patients were given systematic, comprehensive and correct functional exercise.In the trial, the standard of the evaluation based on the PRC TCM diagnosis and efficacy standard of necrosis . Results ：All 25 patients were followed up for 10 ~ 24 months, and 17 cases were cured, 5 cases had good effects,2 cases were effective and only1 case was ineffective. The curative rate was 68.0%,and recurrence rate was 4.0%. Conclusion：The research suggests that Chinese herbs、operation and antibiotics has good effects on Orthopaedic postoperative infection .They has the advantage of reliable fixation、improving the immunity, decreasing the recurrence rate、 maintaining good bone appearance, which are good to control infection and promote fracture healing .So Chinese and modern integrated medicine
