The laboratory covers an area of more than 8,000 square meters, the one covering an area of more than 50 acres of biological garden, laboratory equipment valued at 12.5 million Yuan, with Biology Herbarium collection of animal specimens 1321, which is the worlds first artificial breeding of giant pandas and other 68 protection of animal species at the national first and second level. Collection of plant specimens has more than 260 branches, （一） 操 作 方 法 English for biology students more than 40,000 samples; above all, the number of fern plant specimens is the largest in Hunan province. Biological Park Introduction Cultivation of vascular plants of 138 families, 364 genera and 690 species, also there are dove tree including 30 species at the national first and second level. Our school is existing 56 staff, including 8 professors, 19 associate professors, 23 lecturers, more than 46 people have a masters degree, and 18 people of them got a PHD degree. Currently our school is in charge of the National 863 project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national and provincial project add up to 33, and won the national 12 provincial and ministerial level awards. Our college in procession of biological sciences, bio-technology, bio-engineering and gardens bachelor degrees, we have 1032 students in school, 132 graduate students.
