高考热点之虚拟语气（一） 曹俊荣 虚拟语气： 表示动作或状态不是客观存在的事实，而是说话人的主观愿望、假设或推测等。如： If?I?were?a?bird,?I?could?fly?in? the?sky .如果我是一只小鸟，我就能在空中飞行。 一 ?It is (about/high) time 后的虚拟语气 It‘s (about/high/very) time that-从句 (从句用虚拟语气，谓语用一般过去式（did)或 should do, should 不能省略)，意为“某人该做某事了”， 。 Eg: It’s about time that you began to study English. 二 should+动词原形的 虚拟语气形式。“should”可以省略 例句： He ordered that the students (should) wash the clothes every week by themselves. He suggested that they(should) stop smoking. Ex:The work would require that _____ at 5 every morning.? A. she has been there B. she was there???? C. she be there?????? D. she will be there? 特例 注：suggest“暗示，表明” 宾语从句不用虚拟语气。 Eg:His expression suggested he was very angry. insist “坚持说，坚持认为”， 宾语从句不用虚拟语气。 Eg:The man insisted that he had never stolen the money 练习 1 She suggested to the police in the police station that Mr. Smith ____.
