Teachers need to try every way to attract students to the teaching activities and make the students experience that English-learning is a kind of interest. Purposes and Significance of Study As we all know, English plays an important role in the modern society. In the future, a person who knows nothing about English will be a new “blind man”. However, English learning is a complex process. Some poor students we often called can’t speak a little Standard English. They always also make lots of mistakes in both homework and written English. It is found that one of the most important factors influenced poor students is their low interest in English learning after an investigation .Then, this paper focuses on the importance of English learning interest, analyzes the causes of the poor students’ low interest in English learning and puts forward solutions to solve it. 4. Situation of Study Since English course is offered in primary school in China, a problem has existed continuously.
