Get students know about famous sites in London and more about the UK. Ability aims: Develop students reading skills and enable students to use different reading skills to read different reading materials. Enable students to tell about famous sites in London in their own words. Emotional aims: Stimulate students?interest in London and UK. Develop students?sense of group cooperation and teamwork. Important points and difficult points: Develop students reading skills. Let students read and understand the passage. Teaching steps ? StepⅠ Review Check the exercises to see whether they have learned well at last class. 1)? 我们看见那小偷被警擦抓去了。 2)? 人们发现水被污染了。 3)? 我已经让人把我的车洗了。 4)? 我觉得自己被撞倒了。 5)? 老师希望学生为考试做好准备。 Reference answers: 1)? During the reading you are supposed to do some tasks, and you will finish these tasks by doing a competition, so you抣l be divided into 4 groups. And one more require I need you to imagine that all of you are now taking a trip to London. StepⅢ Reading ?Task 1 skimming Students will be given 3 minutes to skimming the text then
