At the beginning of the 20th century, capitalist society has come to a crisis：material prosperity, but moral bankruptcy. Then, the focus of the novelists of the 20th century has turned to the profound thinking on human destiny. F. Scott Fitzgerald?s Tender is the Night is a masterpiece of modern tragedy. F.
