It may refer to a menu of items priced and ordered separately rather than selected from a list of multi-course meals at fixed prices (table d’h?te). table d’h?te is also a French phrase which means “host’s table”. It is used to indicate a menu where multi-course meals with limited choices are charged at a fixed price. Buffet is a meal serving system where passengers serve themselves.
