ABSTRACT
Mathematical problem solving is the core content of
contemporary mathematics education, it is particularly important
to develop the students ability of mathematical problem solving.
Under the four base teachers from which aspects to improve the
students ability of problem solving is the object of this article
research.
Function is the core content of high school math, it as a common
thread running through the high school mathematics learning, in the
future university study will also learn about the content of the
function. At the same time, in the calendar year of the university
entrance exam, function questions never occupy high proportion. It
is because of function in the strategic position of high school,
as a education workers should attach importance to the function of
teaching, pay attention to the function of learning. For a high
student, however, their grasp of the function content is still in

a lower level, the concept of function, properties and application
of basic elementary function and function these content is
difficult to learn, how to improve the ability of their function
in problem solving is the main content of this article the author
will research.
There are four research methods of this article, the focus on
teaching of function. On the basis of related literature review,
combined with teaching practice and guide teacher recommendations,
and the authors experience, make full use of various education
teaching resources, to conduct the thorough research to the
function of teaching. In the whole writing thesis, the author made
a questionnaire, to students in the function exposed some problems
in the process of investigation, and used SPSS software for data
analysis, in order to study well.
