There are many ways in the settlement of an international trade dispute. Normally, amicable settlement or conciliation is the first choice because it saves time and cost while maintaining good business relations. If amicable settlement does not lead to a satisfactory result, the parties concerned may seek for arbitration in which the arbitration award shall be final and binding to both parties. It is more flexible compared with a legal suit. 2、How to make a complaint? When making a complaint, plan your letter as follows: a . Begin by regretting the need to complain. b . Mention the date of the order, the date of delivery and the goods complained about. c . State your reasons for being dissatisfied and ask for an explanation. d .
