Surveys and Studies on Current Situations of Technical Vocational Education in Xingwen County,Sichuan Province,China Major:Comparative Education Direction:Comparisons and Contrasts on Educational Theories and Technologies Instructor:Professor Zhou Yi Postgraduate:Wang Tao(2001080) Abstract Technical&VOcational education plays one vital role on education itself and it is. being a trend internationally,should be emphasized and fostered in a long term.As any country as ConceiTied.a“labor force army”of good tcchnical and vocational qualities iS undoubtedly the strong preparation strength for the modernization,and in Germany, U.S.A.,Britain,Singapore,for example,develops a high leveled technical&vocational education system and in china,however,it becomes a weak chain in the whole education system and lags behind whatever in scope,quality,etc. Based on the attempts to analyze in details,the author tries to figure out real problems in domestic vocational&technical education system then presents some constructive advices for its development in a manner of surreys and researches.Through specific surreys and analysis.the author discovered that before 1998 the situation of technical& vocational education in Xingwen,Sichuan province developed well but since then gradually become much worse.Main problems are listed as follows:hardships on recruiting new members;hardships on training and proliferations of new technology; hardships on graduates’employments;hardships On financial aids;hardships on poor hardware conditions of vocational school;the set皿gs ofrechnicalvocational education mayors is out of sync wi也market demands;peasants’unchanged views on technical& vocational education.To solyes these problems,the anthor,through careful studies,sets forth some solution as foflows: 1,Govenunent should draft and execute the beneficiary polices about technical& vocational education; 2.Try to promote peasants’SOeial statUS and change their views on technicaI& vocational education; 3.Stren
