Ask and answer between the teacher and students. The teacher asks some questions to let students introduce their family members to the class
Work in groups.Let students talk about their family members in groups
Teach the new words using pictures or objects Classify the new words.Lead to the concept of countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
Make dialogs between the teacher and students. Suppose the teacher invites some students to dinner. Use the words that have just been learned and create a real scene to learn the new words and phrases
Show the picture in 1a Ask students to look at it and listen to the tape, then answer the question
Let students listen to 1a again and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Then let them imitateand read after the tape
Read 1a in roles.
Ask students to act 1a out in groups of four ,then fill out the table in 1b.Check the answers.Finish 1a and 1b
Listen to 2 and fill in the blanks then the teacher checks the answers. Finish 2
Let students read 1a and 2, ask questions and help each other to solve them.Learn and master for ,paying special attention to its usage. Then master the following sentence patterns
