Friend, long hair, short hair, thin, strong, quiet
Read after T. read together. Ask several ss to read it.
T lead the ss to describe the persons on the flashcards:
She has long/ short hair.
He is thin/ strong.
T: Who is quiet in our class?
S: ….is quiet.
二.Presentation practice
1. T ask a boy: What’s your name? The ss answer: My name’s …
Then T ask the others: What’s his name? (Who’s he?),
Then T ask several more boys’ names.
What’s his name?
His name is …
T use the same way to ask girls’ names.
What’s her name?
Her name is ….
Game: Ask two boys or girls hide in front of the teacher’s desk,
One boy or girl put up and show one finger. One ss guess the name.
The others ask:
What’s his/ her name?
His/ Her name is ….
If the ss guess right, he or she can get one star for his /her team.
T show a photo and say: Look at the photo. ( Look at the picture.)
Teach the new word : photo. Ask a ss to describe the person on the photo.
三. let’s talk
1. T: I have a friend. He is from China. He is a boy.
He has short black hair and big eyes. He is tall, he is strong,too.
Guess. What’s his name?
SS guess the name: His name is …
2. Ss open books, listen and read after the tape twice.
Read together. Self-reading. SS-T role play. Boysgilrs role play.
3.Game: T set an example. Then ask ss to describe his or her friend.
Others guess. Eg: I have a friend. He is a boy. He has big/small eyes/nose/mouth/ears/long hair/short hair. He is tall/short/thin/strong.
What’s his name? The others guess and answer: His name is ….
