Abstract Porcine respiratory disease complex(P对)C)is caused by several pathogens and factors，the clinical symptoms include body temperature rising,cough,dyspnea,low feed effect，low growth rate and high death rate．It is difficult to prevent and control with its incidence 30％-80％and mortality 5％-30％or above． It is a main problem in pig industry，which caused great loss to the worldwide pig industry． The surveys on PRDC were from several large pig farms in the north ofXinjiang,including Kelamayi， Kuitun，Shihezi and Wrumqi．A series of assays were made including the investigation on clinical signs, isolation and identification of bacteria,detection of the viral pathogen and the antibody．It ascertained main pathogens of PRDC in these districts，providing an important basis for scientific preventive and control methods．Results were as following： 1．Totally 1 50 serum samples from three intensive pig farms were tested in Kelamayi，Kuitun,Shihezi three districts．The positive percentage of the serum antibody of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)and classical swine fever(CSF)were 37．3％46％respectively．The Natural infection percentage ofPorcine circovirus type-2(PCV-2)and Porcne contagious pleuropneumonia(PCP)were 38％， 75．3％．respectively． 2．PCV-2 and PRRSV were detected by PCR from 60 porcine respiratory disease complex samples and 1 5 clinically healthy lung samples were collected from different farms in the north of Xinjiang．The results showed that 29 samples for PCV-2 and 1 7 samples for PRRSV were positive．The positive ratio were 48．3％and 28．3％，respectively．The co-infection number ofPCV一2 and PRRSV was ll in 60 samples， the positive ratio was 1 8．3％．While in the clinically healthy samples，only 2 samples for PCV-2 and l samples for PRRSV were detected positive，the positive ratio were 1 3．3％and 6．7％，respectively，no co-infection samples were found．The above results demonstrated that there may be some relationship between the infection of porcine respiratory disease
