The document will assist the installation and application of all modules and updates, and will additionally cover the installation of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Runtime Edition database engine. It will also cover basic setup of Microsoft SQL databases and Accpac databases. Certain corrections and editorial changes have been made to this document by LWF Geneva staff in order to make it more easily usable by LWF Field Offices. It is recommended that Field Offices print out the read me files for additional reference. These files are located in the \DOCS\ folder on the installation disk under each module being installed. They are named readme.wri and can be opened with Microsoft Word. Installation of Sage Accpac ERP v 5.5 Sage Accpac, as with previous versions of Accpac for Windows, is a modular system and therefore requires each module to be separately installed. The following instructions and screenshots are a step by step installation guide for each Sage Accpac ERP v5.5 module. License keys and further information can be found at the end of this document. As a note, please ensure all software is installed using an administrative account such as Administrator. Users of Windows Vista may receive messages such as “This program has known compatibility issues”. You should click on “Run Program” to continue with the installation. File extensions (i.e. “setup.exe”) have been used throughout this manual. You may wish to re-configure your Windows Folder-View options and untick the check box “Hide extensions for known file types” in order to see the “.exe” file extension.
