The Nobel Academy ——Modern Essays to Memorize How much do you know about the Nobel Academy and its prize? What is the Nobel Academy? Which prize are awarded by the Nobel Academy？ Nobel Academy The Norwegian Nobel Committee(诺贝尔委员会) selects the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize each year. Its five members are appointed by the Norwegian Parliament and today roughly represent the political makeup of that body. Swedish Academy(瑞典文学院) is founded in 1786 by King Gustav III, is one of the Royal Academies of Sweden. It is known for making the annual decision on who will be the laureate for the Nobel Prize in Literature, awarded in memory of the donor Alfred Nobel.
