Infiltration of culture background knowledge in College English Reading Teaching Abstract English teaching is not only to teach the language knowledge, but also to penetrate cultural knowledge. In the penetration of cultural background knowledge plays a major role in college English teaching. The method of the penetration of cultural background knowledge and the feasibility of the materiality principle are discussed in this article. The purpose is to improve the penetration ability of cultural background knowledge and intercultural English language colleges, comprehension and communication ability.
