Personal Philosophy of Education Introduction At the end of this semester, reflecting on what I have learnt through this course, I realize that I really benefit a lot from studying this course. I come to understand a lot of valuable knowledge in the cultural foundations of education, especially in the philosophy, ideology, and theories of education. I learnt that Idealism, Realism, and Thomism are considered to be more traditional philosophies resting on a foundation of metaphysics. Existentialism, Pragmatism, Philosophical Analysis and Postmodernnism are more recently
