2.To enable the students to ask about the ways of traffic with the following sentence patterns: How do you go to school? Or How do you go to Canada…?”And answer with “I go by…”
教学重点: To master the four skills phrases: by train, by plane, by subway, by ship, by bike, on foot
教学难点:To differ “subway” from “train”
评价任务:
Task one:To enable the students to master the four skills phrases: on foot,by bike,by bus,by train, by plane,by ship,by subway
Task two:To enable the students to ask about the ways of traffic with the following sentence patterns: How do you go to school? Or How do you go to Canada…?”And answer with “I go by…”
Task three:Use these phrases and sentences freely.
教具准备:the teaching cards, the tape and the recorder.
教学过程:
一、Lead aims
1. Show the Knowledge Tree of this unit, ask the students to know what they are going to learn in the unit.
2. Show the Knowledge Tree of this lesson, ask the students to know what they are going to learn in the lesson.
3. Let students read the aims.
二、lead questions
1. How many ways of transportation do you know?
(The pictures of the transportation can help the students)
2. How do you go to school?
(“by subway、by train、by ship、by plane、on foot”)
三、Learn by themselves
1. Ask some students to read the words and sentences.
“by subway” “by train” “by ship” “by plane” “on foot”
How do you go to school?
I go to school on foot.
2. Let students read the words and sentences after the teacher.
四、Work in groups
1. Read and recite the phrases in group.
2. Read and master the key sentences in group.
3. Use the key words to instead of phrases in the sentence:
How do you go to school?
I go to school on foot.
How do you go to Canada?
I go to Canada by plane.
