教材分析 译林牛津教材模快的设计具有整体性和科学性。题材广泛，内容丰富，语言地道。文化意识强，内涵丰富。用英语做事情，在活动中学习和掌握英语。学习策略的培养渗透到教学过程各个环节。本单元是介绍至今人类无法解释的谜，这个话题使很多人感兴趣。因此激发了人们去大量搜索有关资料并且就这些未解之迷的有与无展开了激烈的讨论。最终在活动中完成一个项目。 Welcome to the unit: students will be asked to talk about some mysterious or unexplained phenomena, including evidence of UFOs, the possible existence of Yetis and the Loch Ness Monster, reasons for building Stonehenge and the pyramids. Reading: we introduce and explain to students how to read a news article. All the activities involve checking and enhancing students’ reading abilities. Students are expected to gain an overall understanding of the article and learn to read in different ways according to the type of the article they are reading. Word power: this section deals with space and space exploration. Grammar and usage: this section focus on the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense. Students are required to learn how to form and use the present perfect tense. As for the present perfect continuous tense, students are only expected to understand when this tense is used in sentences. Task: This section consists of a series of activities which provide students opportunities to learn and practice their language skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. At the same time their ability to analyse problems will be improved. Project: This unit is designed to help students learn and use English by doing a group project. The reading material about Yeties is a sample for students to see how a mysterious story can be written. The purpose of this unit is to encourage students to use what they have learned in this unit to complete the project. 教案背景及设计思路 本课是在以本单元前阶段学习中所涉及到的世界未解之谜为背景知识和铺垫，以喜马拉雅山上的野人为主题继续深化本单元的主题，与此同时，使学生由了解学习过渡为围绕世界之谜主题撰写奇妙故事，因此，若要自然且较高质量地完成此任务，课前要进行准备工作，同学们通过搜索因特网去寻找关于野人，不明飞行物，尼斯湖水怪，巨石阵，埃及金字塔的有关信息以及相关图片。通过一番搜寻和阅读之后，同学们不仅对本课内容有了较清楚的了解，而且也提高了他们的学习兴趣。这对以后的学习也会大有帮助。本课的第一阶段则涉及对前部分的相关内容进行简要复习，进而引出雪人话题。分析结构和内容是本课的第一重点，通过系列问题分别来提高学生泛读和精读的能力。亲自撰写故事的目的是让学生学以致用并提高写作和
