Types of Draft a. Sight bill （即期汇票） time bill （远期汇票） If the draft is payable at sight on presentation, it is a sight or demand bill. If the drawee is required to pay the bill at a later time, it is a time or usance bill. b. Clean bill （光票汇票） documentary bill（跟单汇票） A bill of exchange, which accompanies with shipping documents is called documentary bill, whereas is called clean bill. c.?Commercial bill (商业汇票) banker’s bill（银行汇票） It is commercial bill when the drawer is a commercial firm. When the drawer is a bank, it is a bankers’ bill. 　　远期付款一般有四种：　　(1)见票后××天付款，填上“at ×× days after sight”，即以付款人见票承兑日为起算日，××天后到期付款。　　(2)出票后××天付款，填上“at ×× days after date of draft”，即以汇票出票日为起算日，××天后到期付款，将汇票上印就的“sight”划掉。　　(3)提单日后××天付款，填上“at ×× days after date of B/L”，即付款人以提单签发日为起算日，××天后到期付款。将汇票上印就的“sight”划掉。　　(4)某指定日期付款，指定×年×月××日为付款日。例如“On 25th Nov. 2011”，汇票上印就的“sight”应划掉。这种汇票称为“定期付款汇票”或“板期汇票”。 Acceptance (承兑) Acceptance: the payer engages, by signing his name across the face the bill the that will pay when it falls due.
