These questions will need to be answered for your configuration to be accurate. Make sure you understand the difference between physical slots and licensed slots. Physical slots are installed but not necessarily licensed for use by the customer. Licensed slots are slots customers can use for data/catridge storage. The physical slots must be = the licensed slots. Also, you may want to advance install many more physical slots than the customer plans to initially license so the customer can grow non-disruptively in the future. You need to know how many drives will be installed (both new drives and those moved from other libraries). What type of AC and DC power options the customer wants (AC voltage and N+1/2N). Note the Access Expansion Module (AEM) is not available at launch. We are including the AEM in this presentation so you can configure and quote the AEM. When configuring libraries you should always plan on the CEMs being installed to the right first and then the left, in a balanced fashion.
