People from the city often moved there because it was a quiet and peaceful place to live. Mrs. Noble was a real estate agent in Pleasantville. One day, a young couple came to her office. “We are thinking about moving here,” said Jon. “Can you tell us what kind of people live here? We want people just like our current neighbors, who are helpful, kind, and considerate.” Mrs. Noble replied, “I think you’ll like the people here just as much as your current neighbors. I think you will fit in very well.” Cathy and Jon were happy to hear that. Then, another man from the city came in.
