Unit 7 How much are the socks?
Students` level: junior 1
Teaching aims: Students learn to talk about clothes and prices. By learning, they can make their own dialogues about shopping and write an ad for clothes stores.
Teaching contents: 1.Resive words: trousers, socks, shorts/1 to 30.
2. Get students to show their own shopping dialogues.

3. Learn the ad of Mr. Cool’s Clothes Store.
4. Make a dialogue about Mr. Cool’s Clothes Store.
5. Learn to write an ad for our own store.
Teaching focus: Students can get details in an ad and know talk about price and clothes. And know how to write an ad.
Training knots: Can use the basic shopping sentence communicate with others.
Teaching aids: Simple drawing and practice paper.
Teaching time: 40 minutes.
Teaching stages:
1. Warming-up: (1 minute)
T: Hello everyone! How are you today?
Ss: Fine.
T: When I was a child, I wanted to have a clothes store so that I can have many clothes to wear. What about you? Do you want to have a clothes store?
Ss: Yes/No (tell why).
T: Ok, we have a lot of wishes. We wish to have a store. If we have a store, we need to sell things and have an attractive ad so that people will come and buy things here.
2. Revision: (4 minutes)
T: We have learned the clothes` name last class so today let’s read these words together. (Trousers, shorts, shoes...the number 1 to 30 and the name of colors use real things)
