Ⅰ.Analysis of the teaching material(教材分析): The status and function(功能和作用) This is the last unit of the book. It divided into six parts: Let’s learn, Let’s talk, Let’s spell, Read and write, Let’s check and Story time. It mainly talks about the nature park, it’s a life topic. This topic is based on the sentence patterns in the fifth unit. The students can combine the old and new knowledge, and they will use the language flexibly by the rolling accumulation. 2. Teaching objectives(教学目标) Knowledge objectives: Students are able to learn some new words: mountain, hill, forest, river, and lake and sentences “Is there a river in the forest? Yes, there is. /No, there isn抰.d” Ability objectives (1) Students are able to use sentence patterns in situations. “Is there?? Yes, there is./No, there isn抰.e ” (2)Students are able to correctly understand the passage with the help of the pictures, read the passage with correct pronunciation and intonation and cultivate students comprehensive ability of language use Emotion objectives Cultivate students love of nature and enhance students awareness of environmental protection。 3. Teaching key points and difficult points(教学重难点) Key points: Students are able to learn new words: mountain, hill, forest, river, and lake and sentences “Is there a river in the forest? Yes, there is. /No, there isn’t.” Difficult points: Students are able to use sentence patterns in situations correctly. Ⅱ.Analysis of students(学生分析) Most of the students in Grade5 are shy and not confident in class. But they are very interested in learning English, especially lively class.
