10.4 Current leadership theories and development The industrial development provides seeds of new paradigms of leadership, such as transactional, transformational, full-range, charismatic, strategic, ethical, and authentic leadership. Those leadership styles were believed as the property of individuals and equated with management concepts. 10.4 Current leadership theories and development 1.Transactional leadership and Transformational leadership 交易型领导与变革型领导 As the name labeled, transactional leadership focuses on “transactions”. Transactional leaders are interested in exchanging benefits with their subordinates and providing explicit description of the task objectives.
