Introduction to the Seafloor Focus Question What are the seafloor features? Activity Synopsis Using a map of the ocean floor, students are asked to observe and describe seafloor features. The instructor is encouraged to stress to students that this is an observational activity, and that students are doing what oceanographers did in the 1950s and 1960s as we first began to have a picture of the ocean floor.
