An Analysis on the Stamping Forming Simulation and Springback Control of the High-strength Steel Aut 　　Abstract: In recent years, the high-strength steel has been widely used in the automotive industry. As the high-strength steel sheet is prone to producing forming defects and serious springback problem in the stamping forming process, the finite element technique is used to simulate the value of stamping forming and springback process, so as to improve the stamping parameters and mold design according to the simulation results to achieve effective control of the springback value and efficiently improve the manufacturing precision of covering parts. 　　Key words: high-strength steel; auto-body; stamping forming; springback control 　　0 Introduction 　　Today, development trend as well as challenge of auto industry is body lightening. Data shows that 10% body weight-losing can save 3% - 7% fuel in total [1]. Compared with common steel, high-strength steel has large advantage in strength and conversion cost, at the same time it meets the auto-body requirements including body lightening and safety. However, during the auto-body panels production process using high-strength steel materials, shortages were found. Due to its material characteristics like high yield strength and high tensile strength, high-strength stampings are prone to produce splits and wrinkles, its poor formability restricts application in the auto-body panels severely. Therefore, finding out an effective method to avoid identity of forming defects is the key to whether high-strength steel can be widely used in the field of automobile. 　　Most of the shapes of the auto-body panels are formed by drawing process, there is no doubt that drawing process is the key step of the stamping process of auto-body panels. To improve the quality of the products, reduce manufacture cost and shorten the development cycle, the finite element technology can be utilized in the simulation of automobile panel formabil
