Outcome 2 Demonstrate correct pronunciation of Māori place names in a tourism context. Conditions All tasks must be completed to achieve this unit standard. Your assessor will discuss with you how long you have to complete these assessment tasks. You and your assessor will discuss your choice of presentation method and resources (e.g. computer, whakaari, tuhituhi etc). Assessment against this unit standard is limited to local rohe or takiwā. Where local rohe are also occupied by a number of other iwi or hapū, the tangata whenua or mana whenua view will take precedence. Other iwi or hapū views should be encouraged in order to enrich and enhance understanding of key Māori concepts and practices. You may work in pairs or groups however you will be assessed individually. Your assessor will discuss with you the processes for reassessment.
