Taiwan Senior High School Scholarship Program Description Ministry of Education, R.O.C. Purpose The Ministry of Education, R.O.C. (MOE) set up this scholarship to encourage local Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools to recruit international high school students to study in Taiwan, and to provide excellent high school education to these international high school students. The MOE expects high schools in Taiwan to recruit international high school students so as to make their high schools more international. Recipients and Quotas Excellent International Senior H The MOE will consider countries which have signed the “Education Cooperation Agreement / Memorandum as its priority, and will accept 3-5 students from each country, up to total number of 25 students annually. Senior High Schools in Taiwan Scholarship Information The Name of the Scholarship: Taiwan Senior High School Duration of the Scholarship: The duration, upon receiving the award, is twelve months and will be issued each month. The scholarship will be calculated by the number of days recipients attend school, if under 1 month. Value of the Scholarship: The maximum monthly amount is NT$20,000 and includes the following: * Allowance: NT$6,000. * Accommodation and Board: NT$12,000. * Insurance Coverage and HYPERLINK /search?ei=UTF-8p=%E9%9B%9C%E9%A0%85%E8%B2%BB%E7%94%A8 Miscellaneous HYPERLINK /search?ei=UTF-8p=%E9%9B%9C%E9%A0%85%E8%B2%BB%E7%94%A8 Expenses: NT$2,000.
